New here to form have enjoyed the reading so far,have been to a few places out of state and fished,lately have been fishing rayburn & t-bend,plus the river some just to damn hot during the day,fishing out of a 2009 sx190 nice boat for me at my age looking for some possible clubs in the Jasper area as my fishing & drinking buddy for 40yrs passed away this april

Good to see the military in to the fishing I was in Puerto Rico at Ramey AFB before it was closed in 73 we had a bass club and fished lake guatatacca i think thats how its spelled. We had a good bunk house, boat dock even Ray Scott came down to fish with a friend of mine naned chuck porter our lake record at the time was 11-3 caught by a man who had never been bass fishin he was trolling in the river channel we caught lots of fish but we were on GI pay so we ate lots of fish

Welcome indeed. I haven't found a better group of folks around
anywhere in a long long time.
About that old farts club, do I actually have to be old to be in
it or can 31 and stressed quite a bit count? *grin* I find that
spending a day on the lake with the 'more experienced' crowd I not
only learn more about fishing than I ever knew there was to know,
but I tend to learn a whole lot about life along the way.
