When: October 2, 2009
Where: Arkansas State University Campus, Mountain Home, AR
I will be teaching a fly casting workshop focused on teaching people with disabilities to fly cast. This is a very fun, interactive fly casting workshop where students learn by DOING, experimenting, and thinking outside the box to solve problems. I call this workshop the Adaptive Casting Challenge. I held the first one in 2007 at Bass Pro Shops HQ in Springfield, MO. It consists of a series of casting "games" in which participants are "handicapped" and then try to complete the casting tasks without coaching.

all workshops scheduled for the asu campus have been moved to the fairgrounds casting pool.
this is a good thing. everything else happens at the fairgrounds except for the on-stream seminars and the evening activities such as receptions, dinners, etc. they happen at the hotel.
