KInda like when Luke Claussen went to the Classic and stole the show. Only difference FLW will allow the hack attack to defend of he makes it. Unlike what Bass did to Luke

KInda like when Luke Claussen went to the Classic and stole the show. Only difference FLW will allow the hack attack to defend of he makes it. Unlike what Bass did to Luke All Claussen had to do was fish BASS the next season and he would have been allowed to defend his Classic title. Claussen chose not to fish BASS so he chose not to defend his title, not BASS.

Ya it was great to see Hack when a big one...Ike has got to be pissed...Two second place finishes in the biggest tournaments this year...

Great to see Hack win, with all the non endemnics its amazing there are not more Elite guys fishing FLW more often. Great tour with a Great champ for 09 now! Born on the Bayou!

Ike will be a contender almost every time, he is a great fisherman -- Its a shame he wants to show off his temper. Kicking his locator almost off his boat was an embarrasing display of a juvinile temper tantrum by a grown man. His temper displays overshadow his good side.

Just a quick thought. Wonder what the FLW Tour people feel about having 5 of the top six anglers at the top of the final standings at the championship not be FLW Tour anglers. All of the top six except for Scott Suggs made it to the championship by fishing the Stren tournaments. Kind of a kick in the butt to have guys that don't even fish the Tour beat the Tour guys. I am sure they would have liked for Larry Nixon, Clark Wendlandt or one of the Tour regulars to have won it. Wonder how much promotion Hack will be doing considering he has the Classic and Elite series trail to concentrate on. I personally like anglers in both tours and don't try to think of one tour better than the other but I am sure there were some talks going on about having Hack and Ike as the top 2 finishers since they are big time Elite anglers. I just wish the trails could get together and make concessions to allow all anglers to be able to fish both tours.
