Well this wouldnt of happend if i was back home in texas, but went on vacation down to St. Pete florida and my dad thought it would be funny to run a top water torpedo over this gator's mouth.... Dont think he actually thought it was gonna attack the lure but it did and put up a heck of a fight. After a 10 min strugle a local came up and had a pair of plier, which my dad used to take the hooks out. Ya i was thinking cutting the line but nope there wasnt no way my dad was gonna loose that 5$ lure. hahaha  And heres a little bass i caught.

I have done the same thing...at a pond owned by EDS in Plano runs along Preston...there was/maybe still is a small gator in there..I saw it chilling on the bank and it inhaled a 7 " pwer worm....

You can do that with bull frogs as well. Just look for there eyes poking up out of hydrilla and run a weightless worm over there eyes.

Your in my old stomping grounds there... Did you hit Lake Seminole? Great lake if you can get out on it, I have caught some good fish out of there.. But if you get a chance definetley hit lake Walk-in-Water great lake out south of Orlando, about hour and half from St. Pete
