Yep. A new boat. I have an oldaluminum boat. Every joint-seam and all 2500 rivets leak on it. A coffee can makes a good dipper. Thats if if your coordinated enough to dip and fish at the same time. Thats why i bought me a NEW boat. A 2008-16ft Express with a 50 hp yamaha. Welded aluminum. 157.00 a month. yea im rubbing it inn. In hopes that you get you one. Good luck and best wishes

Duct tape will work all day long. Just dry the spot on the outside before application of tape. Yes I am a redneck and love the "Red Green Show"

The Red Green Show is real quality TV. I had some stuff that worked really good on leaks. I will look in my building and see if I can find it. If I still have it you can have it for free but like I said I need to look for it. RED GREEN SHOW #1 on TV!!!!!!!

Buddy of mine painted the outside with a bedliner material and sealed his leaks. Don't know if it will work for you but it did for him.

This is the best...flexible and will outlast the boat!
I fixed two 4 inch cracks on either side of my 12 foot Jon boat 8 years ago and hasn't leaked one drop yet!
You can get it at WAL*MART in the sporting goods boat section.
It takes 48 hours to dry tack free so you have to protect it from rain during that time. Then it cures completely in 7 days.
Mine is still tough and pliable after 8 years.
All you do is rough up the surface with COARSE sandpaper then make sure the surface is free of grease and oil and dry before applying.
I scrubbed mine down with plain soap and water and let it dry thoroughly.
****Sun sinking low....lines baited.....gentle south breeze blowing...you realize.........I AM! .

I used something called marine tex one time it worked well I think that was the name of it. I just used the same thing on my boat and it has been the only thing that has worked over a long period of time. I tried J.B. Weld and it would hold up for a couple of weeks and then it would start to crack. Marine Tex has been the best thing I have used I put it on about two months ago and still no leaks. I got it from a local boat dealership where I live. You can also google it and order it online.

Rhino line the inside of it till just a few inches above the highest rivets. My buddy did that to his 60's model aluminum boat and it never leaked again. It about leaked from every rivet.
He got the bedliner stuff from wal-mart that you roll on.

I thought they were supposed to leak? helps keep the cats in the bottom of the boat fresh until you clean them.
