Looking to possibly order some.

1) How are they holding up?
2) Super sensitive and strong ?
3) Do you notice a tremendouse difference betweem say the Legend Tournament and Xtreme series?
4) Where in DFW can I go take a look at some?

ST CROIX XTREME

I own several Avids and LT...just want to learn more about the Xtreme

Thanks!

I have been looking for rods to see and hold and they are special order at most places. I plan to buy the LTB series and you can see them at Cabela's.

The Xtremes are GREAT rods. That said I'm not sure that they're that much better than the LTBs. The LTBs have both the ART, and IPC which to my mind is the most important thing. While the Legend Elites, and Legend Xtremes both utilize SCVI graphite in the lower portion of those blanks whereas the Legend Tournament Bass series of rods does not. The only benifit of true significence that SCVI brings to the party is lower mass/weight. As the Legend Tournament rods are already quite light the SCVI graphite used in the Elites, and Xtremes.

I personally prefer the guides on the Legend Elite seires. They have Fuji SiC Concept guides. Silicon-Carbide rings, and titanium coated frames though I really prefer the all titanium frames. But I prefer the slit-grips on the LTB and Xtreme series.

I've got a 6'6" med/fast action Xtreme casting rod. I use Avids normally, but when these came out I had to try one. It's way lighter than my 6'6 Avid & is just as strong. The Recoil guides are nice too..... each one is double wrapped. A great 1/4oz worm rod with 12lb mono! Enjoy it for blades & skirts as well.
