I have now been using Bee Ready Rod Holders for over a year now and I can honestly say they are the best that I have ever used and I have used many through the years. The other day I was lowering my trolling motor and as I was lefting it and I popped one of my holders out of its base and yes I added more structure to the lake . I didn't even have to think twice, I called Ed at Bee Ready and ordered another one plus a rail mount. Ed was good enough to add me to his pro staff team. I was very impressed also on how fast he gets his orders out. I ordered it on Tuesday and was at my house on Wednesday. Now thats service. If anyone has been thinking about getting some rod holders for their boat give the Bee Readys a try. I have used them for Crappie, Catfish, Stripers & Whitebass and they work great for everything. I am going to see how well they do in a couple of weeks for drifting a river for freshwater trout. Thanks again Ed for a great product. Cliff

Get some tube floater and put them on the riser. Handy to hang jigs on too. Ed has some already cut and ready.

Most folks (Young and Older alike) have a hard time accepting responsiblilty. It's alway one excuse or another instead of just sucking it up and saying "I messed up". You moved up another notch in my book, buddy.

Send me the coords and I'll see if I can pick them up for ya. My buddy Joe has been known to go skinny dipping for a net back at LOP. Glad Andy had that show to remember.

I also have some bee ready structure in Lewisville. I havnt replaced it just yet. Shoulda installed the swim noodles on them like the set of rod holders I built for Anthony. They would float them as well as like someone else has said have a place to store jigs and jigheads.
Keep on fishing.

Cliff,
I'm jealous I'm not getting to go to Taneycomo.....
That is the place to be in August. My dad asked me why I would want to go trout fishing in Aug. I told him because I have to wear a jacket on that lake in the mornings which is a good problem to have in Aug.
Good Luck!
and yes I agree, Bee Readys are the best on the market and will work out great up there!

Bee Ready is a great product, and Ed is fantastic about getting your order to you fast.
However you guys need to make your cover out of something bigger than Bee Ready rod holders, they really are great rod holders but just not big enough to make a good Crappie house.

Hey Cliff, When I fish with you, I usually don't have time to let the rod sit in a rod holder.

Hey Cliff, When I fish with you, I usually don't have time to let the rod sit in a rod holder. Thats because you are always reaching for a beer. Besides being the professional fisherman that you are, I have to take you to the golden holes
