After laying around for a couple days eating at Christmas, Ernest and I were both lazier and fatter, so we decided to 'get a little exercise'. We went to another creek Sunday, and while fishing wasn't red hot, we did manage 31 real nice keepers to 1 1/2# (but didn't actually keep any). Water temp was 41 degrees, and air temp was managable. It was a good day to be out. Only saw two other fishermen all day and the weather was beautiful. Here's a few pics of the day. Oh, and by the way, wait until you see what we did today . That is when you are just too good at Crappie fishing when you throw those tasty little darlings back in the water.

We caught two yesterday. I was going to violate my cleaning rule by never keeping under three. Then a guy at the ramp gave us his only two.

20 more years for me and I'll be doing the same thing as Guy and Ernest...

You better hope not, cause after two days in that cold (at our age), we have hurts in things and places, that we didn't even know that we had places, much less things .

No Mark, I'm not sick. I'm happy for them just wish I knew how and where to do what they do. Like Narc said, maybe in 20 years! Congrats fellas!

I that muddy of water, were you using any odor enhancers?

Water wasn't muddy, just off color. No smell'um.

You two are not just some of the best crappie fisherman around, you are both pretty good with the camera. If you two had a nickle for every crappie you both have caught, how much money would that make?

I dont guess im sick just desapointed, not so much in my ablety but in the Lake and the 5 creeks Ive been fishing in at this lake.

Ernest/Guy, you two just piss me off. There's no other way to put it. I've been fishing creeks for the past 2 weeks and not even a bite. Then you have the gall to post pics of all these crappie you've been catching in where else? ..... creeks. Bah!
