Did not know it was called a river until I joined this form. I always referred to it as the creek between Lavon and Hubbard. there are lilly pads. There are Lilly pads all around the lake. If lilly pads are what you want to fish then there are a bunch by the golf course. Be carefull if the lake is low you are taking a risk of getting stuck. However, You will not be alone as Jet fleas, Ski boats..ect..around you. Go early in the morning or fish at night. you will need to use a map to find the river/creek or have someone show you. Be prepared for possible damage to your boat and or lower unit if you are not extremely careful. Hope you have good insurance...

East Fork Trinity. As mentioned difficult to navigate, but there is some hydrilla up there.

I would only do it if I had an aluminum boat, no glass in that place.

Actually the jet skis we so detest are much more suited for the river then my bassboat. Ever fished from one?

Sounds like a Minnie lake fork but without the hogs. I'm gonna check it out Sunday evening hopefully I don't lose my boat! I'll be watching for those nasty orcs also.

there are hogs up there. wink

the jet ski folks arent up there to fish. they are up there to play "slalom course" at full speed around the corners. they will learn the hard way what texas justice is, once they crash in to someones bass boat.

Dont forget about the widowmaker right in the middle of what you would consider to be a boat lane. Took out about 15 lower units last year.
