I fished texoma last week around big mineral and they had just started biting. Caught 20 or so sat and sunday. Does anybody want to give up any other areas to fish for them in the big mineral area.

Hey Joe, I'll be camping at Big Mineral 04-28&29-2005. I was hoping to catch em shallow. Email me if you're willing to give me a few hints. Wish I had some info to trade but I don't. Oh Yeah, welcome to the forum.

Joe, I tried to post last night but could not get the board to work right. I guess there were too many TFF'ers on with the outdoors show that was on showing our catfishing buddies.
You may be the second person I have heard talking about the fish being in the shallow at Big Mineral. We stopped at Hagerman last week and a gentleman was coming in from tubing. He had not had any luck in the creek. The same was true from the four other hand launch boaters we saw coming out in the short time we were there.
Let us know what area of Big Mineral you are fishing and we will try it. We would like to find a place that is a little closer to home. We enjoy meeting new people especially people that fish.
