Looking at upgrading my Lowrance unit up front. I have the 520 in the dash and love it. I am looking for a unit with a bigger screen, 7" or 8" with GPS to mount on the front deck. Which unit would you recommend?

the HD 5 would be a good fit. They are making a new networking adapter that you can hook up to your units that will give you the new structure scan. Kind of like Hummingbird's side imagine.

I personally would take the 520 and place it on the front deck, then get one of the new HDS units and put on the console with the bigger screen like the HDS-8.
