We are hosting a student from the UK for a couple of weeks and he informed me that he had never been fishing before. Knowing that a young man can die from lack of exposure to our finny friends, I had to remedy that situation at our first opportunity. So we loaded up this morning and went to Grapevine to see if the sandies were playing. Sure enough we quickly got into a school and after some short "how-to" instructions, he says "I think I have one!" Here is Jakub's first fish, and first personal best He even had a cat get in on the action along with a couple of drum I'm not sure which he enjoyed more, catching the fish or running fast across the water. Regardless, a good time was had by all and it is a really fun experience to share this addiction we have with a newbie
the fisherman formerly known as Blu-Ranger....

Nice job, better than sitting on a canal bank in the UK.
