We had 20 bites and 19 of them were short.

what won last nite. we stunk

Mobley and Ray won it with 5 for 9 and change. You werent the only ones that stunk, not alot of fish weighed and only one limit.

HEY BUDA JUST A THOUGHT HERE. not trying too step on any toes here, just an opinion the guys that won big bass last night were not the first out of the money they won more than second place paid. the team that was first ouy of the money would have been next. big bass is still getting a check. just because the didnt get a stringer check. and by the way we were not next, just heard some talking about it.

Jimmye, if I am reading correctly what you are saying.. that since the team won the Big Bass they shouldnt have been allowed to get the free entry next week for being first out of the money. That is a very valid point, and one that I dont believe we have had to deal before..... atleast not in the last year or so I have been fishing these. Its always been first non paid place out of the stringer money gets the free entry, technically they were the first team in a non paid place. This is kind of a freak deal, but I have put the call in to Mr Repola and Mr Ward so they can review it and give us an official answer.

I talked with Vince about this a minute ago, he'll be on here shortly but this is the jist of it.

Big bass and the heaviest five fish are totally separate. The team had a 4.52lb fish that won for big bass. 4.52lb total weight for five fish was good for fifth place. Based on the number of boats, four places were paid out...thus fifth place gets free entry. It doesn't matter if you have one fish or five 14" skeletons that weigh 4.52lbs...its still 5th place.

I got too busy at work to get things updated today. No promises but I will try and get everything totalled and to Lannie to get on the website at some point tomorrow.

I would have done the results before I even thought about doing any work.
