For crappie, check the crappie section. I read last week, I cant remember what his name was, but he was slaying the crappie.

Catfishing can be pretty good in the summer. It gets real good in the fall. How are you wanting to approach them? Crappie are always good in rocky and main lake channel bends at night.

i have caught lots of blues on live minners at stamford ... if you awready have rods & reels they should work just fine for blues

regards albertking

catfishing is now an industry ... it's best for the industry to eat baby catfish

The large minnows are all I use at Henry. i have caught some good blues on them. Now it also depends what you call good blues. The lake record is only like 25lbs. However, the biggest blue I...hooked..then lost was on a big minnow and it was well over 25lbs.

I do most of my fishing up a river. Wether is Grape, little grape, rocky, or the main. If you can find the blues crusin the main channel it is fun. Watch the shad and then kinda go from there.

thanks you know where to find some crappie fishing at? I have heard it is good in big grape creek I may go this thursday so I would like to find a good spot for crappie and catfish in the same place and I havent found any catfish in the main river thought they only stayed in deeper water. also is there much brush out in front of the dam so you wont get hung up often.
