There are quite a few folks who do just that, but it still isn't even denting the population. And catching/transporting a live 250lb hog is easier said than done. smile

I hunt quail and pheasant with my three English Setters. I caught my personal best large mouth bass (12.32lbs) on my 9 weight at Ray Roberts a few years ago on Halloween day thanks to my dogs.

The lake was down enough to expose some sandy shorelines. I gave each of the dogs about an hour of swimming and running in the sand. Good exercise and easy on their feet. When the dogs were done I assembled my rod and tied on one of Charlie Cypert's Gold and Black, Pencil Poppers to fish the last hour or so of daylight. Talk about hitting the jackpot. I caught a monster fish and quail season opened the following weekend.

I saw a special about hunting ferral pigs at night about a year ago and it was pretty cool.
The outfitter would set you up with night scopes on top of assault weapons (or maybe they were IR scopes and he would then turn on a IR light, I can't remember.) It looked like a lot of fun and reminded me of when I used to eliminate coyotes that were killing my friends chickens. We would sit on his front porch and when the chickens went wild we would flip on the flood lights and start popping coyotes. The ranch version of the mini-14 seemed like it was made for that role let me tell ya!
