Size of hook depends on the size of crank bait. Bigger bait, bigger hook.

Small I use a Size 6, Medium a Size 4, and a Large a Size 2
Mustad EWG, but recently I read an article about using Round bend during post spawn etc, when they are more swiping at it.
I still just use EWG though, cause I'm a little on the lazy side.

I use Lucky Craft trebles for all my replacements, 2's and 4's mainly.

I like VMC Sure Set hooks... size depends on bait size.
My opinion is worth what you paid for it...

Mustad tripple grips for me. I stay with the same hook size but sometimes use a longer shank.

going back to gammis. trial and error on some triple grips has resulted in several lost and missed fish on an H20 small crank. the stock hooks worked better than these triple grips.

Owner Stinger ST-36. Anything that looks at it gets hooked. I usually stick with factory size but on some little cranks like the Strike King Series-1 and I'll bump up to #4's because the action is so aggressive to start that a larger hook won't hurt the way it runs. Same goes for big traps in the spring. A 3/4 or 1oz trap will occasionally get 1/0s because the larger hook bend won't hold hydrilla as bad.

The Owners are awesome, you'll really like them. The only issue I've ever had is with rust causing one to come apart, but when a bait is submerged for 24hrs and you get it back, that will happen no matter how good it may look.
