 on board charger ?

I have an aluminum boat, has to be outside, I keep it covered, does an on board charger need to be vented, would it be a no no to keep under the cover? thanks

I have had two aluminum boats. Both stayed outside and covered. Used on board chargers on both. Only precaution I took was to leave the battery access deck lid cracked. Never had a problem.
