Fill it with water, cover it, stick it in the sun and wait

Put your milo in 5 gallon about 1/2 to 3/4 full, boil enough water to cover milo about 2 inches. If you have a fish cooker, you wuold be able to boil more water at one time and alot faster. Then let it sit in the sun til your trip, with the hot water and as hot as it has been should be pretty close. I dont know where you are located or where you are going fishing, if you were close to the Brownwood area, I would just tell you to holler, and come get a bucket that is already soured that I have at the house. Good luck to ya.

Add beer to it. It speeds it up.

Don't know how true it is,but I've always heard that you would get maggots if you don't keep it covered with water. It can't hurt too much, cause I dogged them with the maggots using some of my buddy's chum.
