it's a diamond back water snake and non-poisonous but has the triangle shaped vipor head....i had some in my boat slip eating on a catfish then opened my front door and one was on my aluminum thresh-hold eeks

saw the same species of snake last night, we were on the dock and the kiddos watched him swim by..
