Been a night catfisherman for ages at lake conroe. We have a few spots picked out underneith the causway (1097). In the past we have tore it up out there using shad, fising about 15-20' chummed with range cubes. Lately though (year or two) the fishing has been horrible. So I decided to find another loco on the lake for our night fishing. Any ideas on night fishing for cat? What do you do? depth? structure? bait? chum? etc... Man anything to help put some slabs in the freezer. Right now its empty.

I fish on Lake Lewisville and have been having a lot of luck in shallow water 4-6 feet the last few weeks. Mostly using shrimp and some shad and crawfish. Try a place with a flat muddy bottom
