chris it took alot of trips and the bites were crazy soft....after ya'lls story i took ny camera down and saw nothing!

I agree with the others, that is as perfect a buff specimen as I've seen in my short time in Texas.
Congrats on the fishes! thanks Cyprinus ! it only weighed 20-21 keep on movin but the color and scales and the serious fight she put up was like the good ol days...:) we've caught alot of different buffs out here all sizes and shapes but no quazie's.....yet.

My dad said that he saw buffalo surfacing in 12' of water last weekend while he was fishing on Fork. Maybe buffalo dont stay in the depths all the time during the summer? I wish we could put an electronic tracker on one and study its habits. That would rock!

Maybe the buffalo are starting to move again. Mr. Kleen (Chad) caught 3 small ones at Joe Pool yesterday. I have been missing some and reeling in scales from the sides of the fish.

yea i think tonight i'm gonna do more hook setting than just waiting!the one i caught swollowed my rig....but i got it out with no blood or problem!
