Should be great weather for tommorrow night,fishing has been tough lately,but the rain and cooler weather should help alittle.Remember that Cleburne bass club has their open tourney on alvarado Sunday at 6 am to 1:30 pm.Goodluck to everyone and see ya all at the ramp tommorrow.

Fished the Alvarado benefit today.Done alright sac'd 3 keepers,and watch some good sticks get skunked.Lake is getting alot of pressure and evaporating as we speak.See ya all Wensday night.Congrats to Guy Spencer he caught an 8 1/2 pounder,and had 16 pounds today for the victory. I saw 3 Boats leave the ramp last night at 6 pm for the tourn. How did they do? Me and Bud were coming in just as yawl took off. If they didn't do any better that we did it was a very short Weigh In. LOL Fishing is off Everywhere, Last Tue. Night Bud and I won our tourn. with 2 fish that weighed 3.86 lbs. and I had Big Bass with a 2.17 pounder. How Tough is that?? 2nd place was 1 fish that weighed 2.10 and 3rd was 1 fish that weighed 1.37 or something like that. We had 16 Boats and paid 3 places. So come on out and fish, and above all if you have a weighing fish, be sure and bring it in and weigh it. I heard of at least one boat that had a weigher and left before weigh in. they may have lost some money by leaving early. Keith

The series is over we will be fishing Lake Stillhouse in September for the finals.$40.00 if you have earned a point during the year.We will have $200.00 dollars added to the pot.
If you have not earned a point *****YOU CAN STILL FISH********
Entries for no points during the series is $56.00
We are still going to work on giving some prizes away at the championships.Also we will award Brad Fiman for AOY.
So keep checking back here for more info closer to September.

Have had alot of guys who fished the series with us,would like to move the championship to be moved to a Sunday.So with that said we will be fishing towards the end of the month in September on a Sunday.Weather will be cooling off and the bite should be on.
With that said i have also been asked if it is open.And the answer is YYYYEEEESSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Any one can fish the championship,but if you haven't earned a point during the series.Your entry fee is $16 more than the point earners.I think will will have a good turnout.Hopefully good weather also,I'm gonna get with Dean and we will have a flyer posted on here by the end of next week.

why is it a open if its a championship?? it should only be for the guys that fish with us. only my 2 cents

Because why should we fish our championship with 10-15 entry's,when we can have alot more entry's if we just make them pay for the 8 tourney's they missed.Then we can have alot more money in the pot.We will pay 1 for every 4 entered.
