The fishing is good! We had 41lb2 on Sat. with an 11.11lbder. On Sunday we had 39lbs with a 10 and a 9.4. The fish were shallower than they had been. DD-22s and Texas rigs were the best. Points and ledges in the main lake and in the creeks.

Nice fish. We are planning a trip in the fall to Amistad but I'm thinking of switching or splitting the trip and going to Falcon and Amistad. Any recommendations on lodging for Falcon?

I will try and post some pics. In the last 35 days my smallest 5 has been 30lbs and my biggest has been 49lbs. We catch em almost everyday some days they come easy and some they come hard.

I can honestly say that Charlie is the man. He not only consistently catches big fish but he is very open and shares his knowledge with you. If you fish with him just make sure your tackle is up to the task!

Charlie,
What is the "real life" procedures for the Passport rules on Falcon, for fishing the Mexican Side. I know what "they" say we need but is it being enforced in the real world?

I like Oso Blanco. Clean rooms, a place to eat and drink, servicable ramp, and way off the road for boat security.

Stay at the White Bear. For a bass fisherman, the location, setup, and price, cant be beat.
