Planning on trying this lake for the first time, and we want to try and get on some sandies and hybrids from shore. Anybody have any ideas where to find them from shore on this lake?? I am not at all opposed to wading in either. We were going to try by the dam, but I figured to throw this request out to narrow our options.

Thanks,
BOB

Your best bet from the bank is gonna out in front of the swim beach, the one im referring to is on the NW side of lake. If you enter the park from 377 ( Dutch Branch) go past the marina, you will have to go thru the guard shack, It will be the 2nd access to the lake from there. You will see the swim beach and also a boat ramp to your right after you pull off main road, they have surfacing pretty steady out in fron of there. The hybrids are underneath the sufacing sandies.
