The MBC66MF ought to be a nice spinnerbait rod, and is of course only 6'6" long. Don't let St. Croix's designation of Worm Rod or what ever stop you from using a rod for something else. The Legend Tournament Bass LTBC68MXF is designated as being a topwater rod. Personally, I don't care for it as a topwater rod. I much prefer a AVC66MM for topwater lures such a poppers, chuggers, etc.. I thing that the LTBC68MXF is best for weightless worms, and light Texas Rigs. TFP

I bought a Mojo Bass 6'6" MH because I had a guide trip coming up and no rod while on my vacation. I was awaiting some custom rods but I thought they were going to arrive too late, so I bought the Mojo. I think it it just OK. People talk about them like they are revolutionary or something. I think it is not very sensitive, the blanks are thick all the way to the tip, and not very light. They don't have that "crisp" feeling that I look for. For around the same price, a Compre, Airrus Co-Matrix, Quantum KVD, Fenwick HMX, BPS Pro Qualifier (when on sale), or Cabela's XML would be a better choice. I do like the AVID and Legend Tournament Bass series though. Costs more, but worth it.

I bought the 7'mh spinnerbait rod this weekend and I love it and plan on buying the slop and frog. I can't wait to see how it holds up on the long haul... I'm personally done buying the high $$$ IM8-IM10 rods, I've talked to too many people that say if you get the slightest nick in a IM8-IM10 rod it's gonna explode. I've never had any trouble catching fish on my $100 or less rods and never had one break other than my own clumsiness. Just my .02...

I bought a 7' M to try and I love it, I've been using it for cranking mostly. I was going to buy a Tour KVD rod for cranking instead but its a little out of my price range. I really like the Mojo bass rods and they are in my price range. I really need about 4 rods right now, and would like to stick with St. Croix, what Mojo Bass models would be good for cranking, spinnerbaits, worms, and topwaters. Those are the only 4 I really need right now. I am going to BPS Tuesday to try to find some new rods.
