AllPro in Tenn makes their own blanks I believe Falcon makes theirs and Kistler was going to start rolling their own. I imagine those blank companies on Baingridge Island Washington are still in business.

I can remember when everyone had to have the carrot stick the next best thing to bass fishing. Then Boyd leaves carrot and now everybodys rod is blowing up never had a problem before it's funny how things turn in a hurry here great one week sucks the next.

I talked to a guy at BPS about them and he said the majority of the time this happens the rod is being used for the wrong purpose. IE-frogging with a med/light rod.

He did say that you can exchange it on the spot at BPS. So that is a plus. : /

Take it back to BPS for warranty, its not that big of a deal. They even let you exchange for a different action if youre cool with them. the last one i broke was a 7'3" MH and i changed it for the 7'0" XH.

They are going to have to keep Bugs Bunny away from those rods.

Other that Mojos(Made in Mexico), and Trimuphs; St. Croix's Bass rod blanks are made in Park Falls, Wisconson.

maybe the chinese are eating the carrot fibers instead of using them to help build and reinforce the rods.

Agree! If George Washington Carver were living we would be fishing with peanut stix by now. Newman of Seinfeld fame probably fishes with a rod composed of the "foul weed", broccoli.
