I am headed to cooper in the morning and was wondering if the johns creek ramp is usable.

Yes it's very usable. It has a courtesy dock also. When you launch you are on the main boat lane. Be careful and watch for floaters though. Not alot of people use that ramp so you will probably have all the parking space you want. Last time I was there if I remember there was only three empty trailers. What are you fishing for? I was there last week at Johns Creek...they haven't kept it up like they use to...grass is high and trees have grown all around where you use to be able to beach your boat...you can tie up to the dock ...but watch out for the big hole in the middle of it! Called Doctors Creek state park...they have a 2 lane boat ramp...but only one is usable.

was at johns creek last weekend also amen to the big hole and someone needs to push the dock out a little guess the lake has gone down, had to jump from the dock to the boat. the most i ever saw was 4 other trailers in lot so u can just pull up on ramp if u want. boat lane was fine ran up and down it 4 dif. times with no problems and man is is quiet there a bit diff than hubbard lol

I use the sulphur branch at the state park. I have a 24ft center console launch with ease.
