What's everyones favorite colors of jigs for catching slabs in the next six months ?
Let me rephrase that a bit. I'm getting a sample of a unique new jig from an upstart company up in the northern US and want to know what the best color is for this time of year. The lakes I fish at mainly are slightly to moderately stained, muddy from running north and south with our constant south wind here keeping them that way most of the time. What colors would y'all use in these conditions. For night time any differences at all ? My new jig will glow in the dark if that matters for color.
Thanks

A pink and white tube jig has boated as many crappie for me as any other color. I have used it in just about any condition and caught fish. Other colors may work better in muddy water, but I have so much confidence in this one that I rarely use another color. The other colors that I carry are white, purple, yellow and chartruse.
