Tiny's tips finally got to me! Bullprick rounded up over 100 pounds of lead yesterday....and I went out and bought a good melting pot and other supplies. Bullprick, Nibbler and I made about 40lbs of 2,3,4,5oz bank sinkers today. We now have steady connections for getting lead...I will be buying more molds and making all kinds of goody's. We would like to thank Tiny for his step by step instructions on making sinkers and all the other professional advice he gives! flehan

That's almost as fun as fishing sometimes..they look good..better than the ones we used to make in mom's kitchen with a cast iron skillet and spoons.

That looks like fun! I do lots of soldering so I know about the lead fumes... I really should start opening a window or get a ventilator.

Yeah, were looking into selling them once we have them coming out pretty steadily. Don't want to get in over our heads on orders. If your interested let me know. We will probably start selling them at just under wal-mart prices since there is a lot of sweat and danger to our health's put into it. That and lead ain't cheap. Anyone that's lost a few 5 ounce sinkers at 5 bucks a piece knows what I'm talking about.

Lol, as much paddling as I'm going to be doing tomorrow night, I better. I might have to take one of the little 6 foot poles to troll with while I'm taking the bait out. That could be interesting.

And we did have a nice anniversary. Of course it's over now since I have to be up at 6. I forgot to give you that A+ book today. Remind me to bring it tomorrow.

Ive always said That if I ever start casting my own bullets...Id certainly start casting my own sinkers. Maybe Ill do just that.

Guys do use precautions as the lead
is a serious poison in many forms other than projectile!

Nice looking weights there guys. Good luck out there tonight. I am heading to Corpus for the weekend. I am on a Southwest pass so I have to get on the flight first and they are pretty booked so I might be in town, who knows.

ANyhow, we need to get out soon, had some luck the other night.
