I have a question about the sonar that came on my boat. Everything seems to work fine. It shows the bottom, humps, grass, baitfish(I think),etc. But no arches for fish. Seems to be just blobs where fish are(again, I think). Doesn't matter if Im trolling at slowest speed or got the big motor on.Traansducer is horizontal to the boat bottom and appears to be mounted correctly on transom. I don't know what else to check. Anybody got any ideas?

Cheapest and quickest solution, hire Roy Greer on Lake Fork for a 1/2 day instruction in your boat on your electronics wink

What kinda graph is it?

You will only get arches in ideal conditions with fish moving through the cone at a precise and steady speed. Don't worry about perfect arches--they are rarely seen outside of marketing attempts by sonar manufacturers. Learn to read the other zigs and zags, blobs and clumps. It will all make sense after catching a few of those zags.

What I am looking for is the bottom picture here.

Even if you don't see fish, it doesn't mean they're not there. If you're reading good structure throw at it -- even if you don't see arches, blobs or whatever.
