I'll let you know tomorrow. Planning on going and it's been a long time away from the jetty.
Once in a while everyone should have a little saltwater therapy.

Sorry for the late report, but Friday was AWESOME! Got out to the boat cut about 9:00 and fished toward the end of the North Jetty till we heard thunder about 2:00. Caught tons of sand trout and a few specs. Best part was the small Blackfin sharks we caught. They were everywhere. Hooked probably 25 and boated about 6 cause we were fishing with light rigs. Almost beat the rain but got wet coming in. Brought home about 30 fish between the 4 of us. Put in at the Galveston Causeway (Excellent Ramp, plenty of bait) Some debris in the water but easy to spot. Go Get 'em
Once in a while everyone should have a little saltwater therapy.

I fished the pocket Saturday morning. No good. Didn't look like anyone around was catching either.
Will keep trying. Would so love to come home with a mess - I guess we all do. Good luck to all!

Do I need a boat to get on the jetty? no, u can walk, if u dare, to the boat cut which is about a 2 mile walk and the jetties continue after that. i've done it, won't EVER do it again....
