for you uni knot users , go thru the eye twice, then tie your
uni. Way stronger.

I use more wraps than the illustration shows.

ive got a special knot called the " calebra ".
only 3 people in the world know how to tie it, and if its not done correctly, it can sink a crappie house.

other than that, i usually use a polomar

have rod, will travel

I've watched her so much I think I'm going blind.

I use a palomar and loop knot. Palomar is so easy and fast and always strong. When I want the jig to swing free then I tie a loop knot.

Loop knot folks: I've found a couple of different loop knots. Which one is preferred? I apparently tied a very poor loop knot a few years ago, and lost a Lavon hawg at the boat. It was quite clear by the curl in the line the knot had failed. I've not tried a loop knot since.

I use the palomar part of the time and the fox knot the rest of the time because it is very fast (actually the Pitzen Knot; thanks for the official name Jimmy). I first heard of the fox knot from Paul at one of our CAT meetings amongst other great tips.
