Crappie Tournament
October 14th 2006
Lake Somerville, Tx


Sportsman's Edge will be holding a Crappie Tournament on Lake Somerville Saturday October14th , 2006. We will payout up to 5 places.

Where to enter
Sportsman' Edge 420 West Travis #103
Online at www.satackle.com

Rules:
1. All fish must be caught on Lake Somerville on day of tournament.
2. Must be entered before start on tournament
3. The official weigh in scale will be located at Lake Somerville marina.
4. All fish must be alive and correspond with lake rules and state laws.
5. Tournament is open to everyone.
6. In the event of a tie pot will be split for that place and next place
7. Tournament will start at 7:00am and end at 2:00PM
8. Weigh in will begin at 2:30PM not 2:31PM 9. At least one team member must be inline before weigh-in begins or you will be disqualified
10. You may use live bait or artificial bait your choice
11. Entry fee $50.00 per team (1 or 2 man teams)
12. Payout up to top 5 palces (depends on number of entries)
13. Will be 100% payout
14. Registration will begin at 6:00 am at Lake Somerville marina
15. Once you enter there will be no refunds.
16. You will be allowed to weigh in your seven biggest fish they must all be alive
17. We will deduct 2oz for any fish that is not alive
18. All fish caught may be kept or released back into lake after weigh in
19. In the event weather is to bad on day of tournament we will reschedule the event for the following weekend Saturday October 21st . We will try and put notice out as quickly as possible in the event tournament is cancelled.

Enterresting I haven't fished it much only a few times but I duck hunted it a hole lot.May have to take a trip and do a blast and cast. I know some great spots to hunt there and a few to fish!

I wish it wasn't on the same day as the Bayou City Crappie Club Open Tournament being held on Lake Houston or I would go.

We would probably have several teams fish it if it where on a different date, but we have been promoting our fall open tournament on that same date for over a month now.

First Thanks for interest

we have had many request to see if we could possibly change date of tournament. there seems to many things going on that weekend. Other tournaments etc. since this is our first event we are willing to change date to october 21st on lake somerville.
