I’m planning on going out for some Crappie this weekend at Benbrook. I have a 10’ buster and wanted a good place to launch from…can anyone recommend a place?

+1 thumb When you go out fish the east side of lake in the timber.

I haven't been out on Benbrook in about a month and a half, and
have been hearing that the water is dropping pretty quick. I
usually launch out of Rocky Creek and have seen a few boats fishing
the trees just around the little point there on that end of the
lake. I'm not sure if they were doing any good but a couple of
pontoon boats have always been down there tied off or anchored
fishing the trees every time I've been on the lake.

Might be an option if the lake level is to low to launch at
Longhorn. From what I've read the water level is dropping pretty
quick recently. Not sure if the rain lately has been enough to
help.

I was looking at Longhorn Park on Google maps and I see there's a football field there but I dont see a ramp..Is there a road that leads to the shore or will I have to carry the boat some yards...
