The first time I caught one of them was on the slp pier. I had never seen one before. I thought it was some type of retarded trout. I didnt know wether to keep it or not. Are they good to eat or good cut bait? Or just a fun catch throwback? hmmm

Mostly good fun to catch. They (ladyfish) are also called Skipjacks. I hear they make good cutbait, byt I don't know anyont who eats them.


Once in a while everyone should have a little saltwater therapy.

Ya thats a Mangrove. I was surprised to catch it where we were. I figured I would have to be closer to the shore to catch one of those.



I hear ladyfish are good cut bait too. Haven't tried it yet but next time I catch one I prob will. Hell of a fight though.
