I do not have a boat, so if anyone ever is fising alone, I will cover gas, minnows, whatever. Boats are expensive to keep and run, I used to have one, so I do not mind paying for everything as that is nothing compared to maintaining a boat. Plus probably would meet some good people. Well, I took a leave for a few months from work, so I can do whatever I want. However, I am learning to trade futures and generally trade most of the day. But if good fishing pops up, I would probably skip trading that day... ))

I saw that you went fishing yesterday with John Varner (saw hos post on striper) and I guess you fish CC generally? I am good to go if you ever want to striper/sandie/crappie fish there. Never have caught a striper. I may trade every day this week, as I am trying a new system. I have tried a system that a friend trades with for 15 years and wins every day, but apparently I am a retard as I lose with his system...and makes me grrrrr

HLS, I fish LL most of the time. I generally go on weekends when it's not to windy to load rocks. I've been catchin some real nice slabs in the last several weeks. A split on boat gas will be fine with me.

It reminds me of a story from my college days at UT. Shouldn't post on here, but I have already had too much coffee this morning, and it is always good for a laugh.

I worked at Beans rest. in Austin back in the 80's. We had 2 for 1 chicken fried steaks on Tuesdays....the owner sent a waiter to get 10 pounds of flour as they ran out.....he comes back with an armload of FLOWERS!!. Jim, the owner, who was a sarcastic arse anyhow, looks at him...and says...Kevin...."the white stuff". Funniest thing I have ever heard in my life. I always envision him in the grocery telling the lady...I need 10 pounds of flowers....ha. Anyhow, 10 pounds of jigs should cover me, lol.

One more idea....I am ordering extra jigs from Matthew...aka Jigum....so I will give a combo of his jigs and some gas. That way I can help him spread the word...you get more fish...all good.
