James What! You go and get a new boat and I haven't seen ya since. Whats up with that? No tournies this year or what.

Well wish I could go but maybe someone will tell me where to go to catch a few? I went to CC for the 1st time last week and catch a good number of sandies and hybrids threw them all back except 2 hybrids that were hurt to bad. We were around crappie island but I could not find any crappie. Could you help a guy out after the tournament because I do not want anyone to give any secrets. Thanks

With the weather we've got this week, everyone should have decent strigers of fish. The moon phase just fell into place for this tournament and the comptetion is going to be tough.

Hi 87 on Friday and then drops to 79 with NNE winds 10-15 for Sat....hmmmm.

The forecast has change every day I've looked at it. Sometimes twice a day. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Of course, it wouldn't be a BFC Tourney at CC if there wasn't wind.

IBFishing, you're going to register from 5am at the ramp on 334 bridge, right? I've never fished one of your tourneys, but would like to give it a try. My brother will be in from OK and would like to fish also. Other than money and driver's license, do we need anything else? Also, I have a house on the lake. Can we drive over there and then drive back for weigh in? Because there is not alot of room there to tie a boat up is there?

Yes you can drive to the weigh in and all I will need is cash money for the registration and a name on the day of the Tourny. I will be there at 5:00a.m. on Saturday morning.

Good thing it's not Ernest's tourney, because then it would be the BFE Crappie Tourney.

I am thinking about it! My wife actually wants me to enter her in the tourny. And if I am gonna do that I might as well fish it huh? Hmmmm. Well let me work out the details for a sitter for the kids and I am in.

After careful consideration I have decided NOT to fish the tourny. Instead I will just be out there fishing for fun. My wife will probably enter it and I will take her and maybe one of her friends out. My wife loves to fish but has only fished about 1-2 times in the last year. All the techniques I use will be new to her. She hears me talk about it but she's never done it. I will look forward to seeing all you guys at the weigh in. Now ya'll be nice and let my wife win now ok? It would make her year.

Fun is what these are all about. If she wants to win, it's fine with me.

I agree with catfishsalsa, the luckiest person will win. I've caught 2 pounders one day and the next day at the same spot under the same conditions, nothing big at all.

OK last minute run down the basic rules, this is an INDIVIDUAL PERSON TOURNAMENT ,NO LIMIT ON NUMBER OF ENTRIES PER BOAT. THAT MEANS NO POOLING OF FISH I know thats already clear(I think) Plus its more FUN THAT WAY WHEN YOU CAN RIB EACH OTHER ALL DAY LONG ON WHO'S CAUGHT WHAT. HONOR SYTEM,HONOR SYSTEM, THATS WHAT MAKES THE WORLD OF FISHING MORE FUN.
