Had a storm come thru in the mornin and lost power but it quickly came back on. The digital thermostat wasn't reading like in the past so reprogrammed it. Replaced the contactor but still does not seem to want to keep cooling steadily. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks! Tracy

Need to turn off the air for 15-30 minutes to let the system pressure equal out. They do that sometimes after a quick outtage.

Find the post here from A/C guy, he's willing to trade a/c work for fishing stuff. It may be worth a PM...

Run water thru the condensor coils with a hose, No pressure if there is dirt and grass etc in there it will wash through this helped mine a bunch. Not a sure thing but worth a try.
