So I went out this evening to do a little fishing after my test. I went to the library pond here in Coppell. I ended up catching about 8 on white bugger. Most were about 1-1.5 lbs, but this one was about 2 lbs.

Except this little guy, hooked him right in the corner of the mouth.

Smallest fish I have ever caught. Now every one knows what fly im using too. thumb

I don't know that I would describe that fly as "sexy," but it's definitely interesting.

My granddad used to say, "A fish wouldn't get caught if it kept its mouth shut," which would've been good advice for that little guy.

I never took that advice either, though.

I liked the fly too, would like to see a pic of it dry. What is it called? Very interesting. Looks like a fish catching machine!
Oh, by the way, the fish is very nice too...hehehe.

I am taking summer classes just like minesflyguy referenced he was doing in the opening post of this thread. I had a test yesterday just like he did, but the test I took was so friggin hard none of the class even made it halfway through by the time class ended, which equals, no fishing on my day off because I had to spend another two hours taking the test. Does that make english sence?

There is nothing worse than a summer class. I did that once and just decided that I could stand the extra regular semester time I'd have to devote to school. I don't mean your reason for doing it isn't valid, Derik, only that I feel your pain.
