We fished this lake on Saturday this weekend, Right after the front rolled in (I guess the bite was shut down) the store across from the ramp is closed with a For sale or Lease notice on the window. The only other establishment that we could find was what seemed to be a Bar (put together by 20 year old's)that had many different blow up palm trees back in the cove off of the Dam... They looked like they were setting up for business for the day/night I don't even know if they were a real business or if they were just some young adults with too many blow up palm trees and Heineken umbrellas over the little tables set up on the beach.

The highpoint of this trip was seeing a deer, no bites to be had... We fished with out paying the ramp fee as there was really no one to pay it to.

BTW it was really Nice lake reminds me a lot of Athens very very clear. I really want to go back and fish it in the fall and spring.

The only place to buy the permit is in town at the public safety building. They do check!! You cannot pay at the ramp. The fee is $35.00 for the year or $15.00 for a 3 day permit.
