Better make sure there is water in it. Buchanan is very low.

been there once no luck so my advice is no good. twdb ( texas water development board) shows inks is a foot low and buchanan is about 20' low

Inks is a constant level lake. Most people fish for Stipers or Whites. But there is a good population of Spotties and Bass. as well.

Inks stays at a constant level. I don't know how good it is but there is a cove close to the State Park that has some timber in it. You can see from the road down that way. Looks good. We take a golf trip there every summer. I have fished from the docks at the place and caught a few small LMB, Spots, and White Bass.
