How do yall maintain your reels after fishing in saltwater? I have been washing them off with fresh water, but was wondering if yall use any oils or anything like that.

I have posted this here before and don't want to sound repetitive, but this is one great way to maintain your reels. First, rinse your reel out with a water hose. Then spray Corrosion X in the reel and all over it. Let it sit for fifteen minutes and then rinse the reel out with a spray nozzle from a water hose. Make sure you get most of the Corrosion X out. It is very gooey. There will be plenty of lubrication left after you rinse it out. If you do not rinse it out you will only be able to cast like 10 yards becasue of the thick lubrication. My reels stay fairly smooth and never make a sound. Great Product!
