I also like a black spinner bait with black blades and a zoom creature bait, also I like the ole tried and true you guessed it large black jitterbugs

If I only had three baits to throw it would be 10" power worms.....blue fleck, tequila, and red shad. Ain't nothin else you need!

slow rollin the ole H&H spinnerbait with single colorado blade. i don't know what it is about that little spinnerbait at night but the bass love.Never done as well with them during the day though but at night they TEAR IT UP!!!!!!

my fishing buddy and I hit the lake the other morning.. 5:30 am or so.. pitch black except for leak of moonlight between the clouds..
We never catch squat in the dark.. ever...we just like the peace of quiet before the friggen boats start showing up...
I was pulling a new H2O shadzilla looking lure through the water.. and right near the bank this whopper of a black bass slammed my lure .. came clean out of the water.. and I set the hook and it hit the bank the instant after that.. scared the puddin out of me....
never happened before.. may never happen again... but was fun..
