will it kill the fishing this weekend?

I would think the cloud cover would help. When the weather did this on the July 4th holiday - the front came through late night of the 4th. The morning of the 5th (Sunday) we had schooling for 5.5 hrs. I think they will be active! That is just my opinion....and hope!

I'll be out in the Morning!

I was out this morning and it killed the fishing for sure! Nothing was surfacing nothing was biting. I managed about 6 fish, small, in the boat the whole day. I kept waiting for it to turn on but nothing. You can see the fish on the depth finder they just are not biting. I'm not sure what it will do to the lake this weekend. I assume that Sunday it should be back to normal but man oh man was it bad. I got to the spot at 6:30, first one, and by 8:30-9 all the boats got tired of waiting and took off.

Bad day to fish, great day to go for a boat ride.

Were you waiting with the other boats up close by the dam?

The fish on Ray Hubbard schooled today till about 10am. It was awesome.

Saturday will be good , If no rain tonight. I will hit Lavon for fist time in 2 yrs wish me luck

I am guessing Lewisville.. figures. I want to fish and we get a summer time cold front and the wind is going to blow Sunday..
Oh well.. Another day and it might turn back on.. ya never know if ya don't go! Right?

Kinda like Marcell Ledbetter and the Game Warden fishing. Marcel was fishing with dynamite. The Game Warden said "Marcell that is highly illegal."
Marcell handed him a stick of lit dynamite and asked him, "Are you gonna talk or fish?
Get after them when you can. Beats weeding the garden I reckon.
