There's a little pond near my house where I've had a lot of fun learning to catch bass on different types of baits. It used to be that I only caught bass on T-rig worms and spinner baits, but recently I've caught them by flipping a tube bait, jigging, wacky rigging, and using a paddle-tail swim bait.
The pond has some weeds and algae-covered areas that probably hold some of its bigger denizens. Apart from a T-rig worm, what are some weedless baits that will punch through the algae and allow me to retrieve them without snagging several pounds of weeds? Thanks.
Brett

Have you thought about using some type of a frog like a Horny toad or Ribbitt?
Catch em, kiss em, let em go

presuming you are fishing from the shore, there is nothing you can use that wont get snagged in the weeds and algae
