Much like the Belton thread, and now Texoma thread, there are enough people on here that fish Lewisville to keep a LL thread going. No need to have 3 pages of active topics on the same lake. So lets get one started for Lewisiville.

All "fishing" post follow.

It was my first time back on the water since Memorial Day. I havent been to consistent with my fishing but that is changing starting now. I spent most of my time around Lake Park and out on deep water humps by the dam.

I just found some schooling fish and then a buddy of mine who was going out with me that evening calls to tell me that he is at the ramp. So I put the trolling motor back up, rod back in the holder and off to the ramp to pick him up before I even wet a line. Went back out to the same spot but nothing to show except a lot of those bubbles you see from the shad oils.

We spent some time checking a few places out but nothing just came together for me. Marked a few here and there, schooling was really spotty. When I did see some it was over as fast as it started. About 8 p.m. is when the images on the graph really started to come together. My buddy caught a nice hybrid at that 8 p.m. mark and then we headed in after that.

Water temps were 87 88. White tail spinner was the catching lure today. The wind was funny. Started out with a light breeze from the south. Then it stopped. Not a ripple on the water. The wind came back blowing twice as hard and from the North.

Big catch was this catfish that was caught on a tail spinner out in open water, around 46ft deep.

Ill be on the water this coming Saturday. Ill give it another try then if I get the chance.

I've thought about getting a LL thread going before, but didn't know if it would work. I think it's a good idea.

I hope it takes off. No reason why it shouldn't with as many LL fisher's we have here.

JMOP....I think these threads just attract idiots (Red Tahoe Guy) to good fishing holes....Wich sux because it would be nice to meet up with a few other safe anglers and fish all day, Even have a beer or two.

We live to fight another day!

I think about that too. I don't think people understand how many people read the TFF (WAY more lurkers than those who actually post) and the effect it can have on an already crowded lake. I dont know, I mean I enjoy reading all the reports, but giving out specific locations and times is like inviting everyone in the DFW area to fish with you. It has an impact. You have a spot to urself one day and post a good report with a little too much info and the next time out your sharing that spot with a dozen or more boats - some more courteous than others. I'm not talking so much about the spots that everyone knows. Those are pretty much fair game. I know everyone is proud of the fish they catch and they want to share it with the world, but it's something to think about. All I'm sayin'....

I wouldn't let that scare you away. He's just one guy and no matter what you're going to have a few of them. Besides, this is a public forum. Meaning anyone can join/look on. Now we can be a little more selective on what info we put on here. But it still will not matter. Birds and boat shows will always lead the ways for guys like Mr. Red Tahoe.

We will be out Sunday evening. It's been a while since the home lake has had a visit. If any of you see us give a wave - I am the guy that drives the Flies-By-Night guy around.. White Mako..

So from now on when an idiot comes runnin into the fish, are we to yell out "TAHOE" at the top of our lungs? That would be great....Red Tahoe might think he was a star or something.
