Met Jerry at the boat ramp this morning, fishing was a little slower than it has been. We wound up catching 30 keepers and there were some really nice ones in the bunch. Jerry took some pictures he said he would post them. Good to see a lot of the TFF'ers over there this morning. Always nice talking to you guys. I may give Lewisville a rest tomorrow and head to RR instead. I may go back to Lewisville on Monday.

Where is a good boat ramp to use up there at Lewisville?
I told my boss I wouldn't be in today, I got my arm in a cast!!!

Enjoyed seeing you guys this morning. Ended up with about 18 keepers, some good ones, and another 10 to 15 throw backs. Didn't keep any fish today though. My supply should be getting low about the time the crappie start to get really nice and meaty.
Paul and Jerry, amazing how if a person was not presenting it just so, the crappie were not biting. Jerry, your timber fishing guide/teaching trip has really helped a lot. Thanks!
Next on my learning agenda is RR with Paul. Maybe this fall? We'll chat about it sometime. Have a fun and safe weekend!

Huey, we were north yesterday. Your next door neighbor Mickey is the guy that fished with us on Thursday.
We put in at the 720 ramp.

Ran into Paul and Jerry (stalking) at Lewisville, and they told us where, how and why they were catching the fish. We were not as sucussful as they were but, maybe with a few more years of practice, fishing 5 days a week we might be able to hang. Thanks for helping me out, the wife gets cranky when there's no Crappie in the freezer.

Did manage 5 crappie and one huge Gasper Goo (10 minute fight) Jerry and Paul, thanks for the info as always
