This weekend I dropped the lower unit replaced the water pump impeller. When I took it apart it didn't have as many parts as the Seloc Book showed and what came in the kit. So I replaced the parts it had and put it back together. The old impeller looked fine the thermostats were cor. bad so I replaced them too. I wasn't getting water out of that little pee whole before when I first started it up it took a little bit. I thought doing this would help. It still takes a little bit though to get the water to come out. Is that normal? Also it looks like there is a little water comoing out at the base of the prop? IS there something seriously wrong or is that normal stuff. When the water starts coming out it is pretty hot. Also my water pressure gauge isn't working and didn't really before so I am not sure what pressure I am running.

Its all normal the water will just pulsate out of the pee hole because the poppet valve is holding the water in the block till the thermostats open that why the water is hot and the water dumping out of the prop is water that is dump out at exhaust plate to cool the exhaust tuner and the water pressure at idle should be 2-3 psi at idle and 15-20 psi at WOT....OPTI
