My girlfriend wants to bake the 5 fish that I caught this morning for us. Someone on here had a recipe with Sunchips a while back. Anyways, post your fav recipe for us to choose from. We'll take pics of how it turns out!

jacob- we use this one for white bass and trout for two people

foil tent, take the juice from one lemon, one lime, one orange (any other citrus will do as well) all into the foil, we use old bay but any fish seasoning will do coat fillets pretty good with that, add any seasoning you'd like, we also put sliced bell peppers and onions, dab of olive oil, dab of butter or butter substutute, wrap it all up in the oven at 375 and when you hear it sizzling it's done- usually about 15 to 20 minutes

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Google 'Crispy Dill Baked Crappie'

This recipe is the bomb! The only alteration I make is that I lay them on a bed of sliced onions before putting the other stuff on top. I passed this recipe on to 'Stiky', and he confused it with my fried recipe, switching the miracle whip to spicy brown mustard. Apparently, it works either way.

Thanks guys! She's trying to make me eat healthier. She apparently doesn't appreciate my boyish figure. Ya know, back in the day, being fat was a sign of wealth...call me Bill Gates.

Here is one I use:

Thin down some mayo with lemon or lime juice. Crush up your favorite flavor of potatoe chip (not corn chip, as they get soggy). Dip the fillets in the mayo, and then roll in the chips. Bake at 350 until chips start to brown and eat up!!!

Just change the chip to change the flavor wink

Yup!!! It's awesome. My wife coats the filet's with spicy brown mustard and some fresh dill. Lay it on a bed of onions and bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes. It's greatness!

Mercy! Was gonna post up a couple variations of mine but started taking notes instead!

One thing I have noticed big time though. I eat fish way, way more often baking it. Just doesn't give ya that bloated-ate-too-much feeling afterward. Haven't fried in months now and the freezer is even getting low. Makes a difference!

Thanks all for the great tips.

You can smell them, and kiss them, but you won't eat them? I better digress because you just pitched that one right over the plate buddy!!

I guess that's what makes you everybody's favorite fishin' buddy. We usually don't have to split the catch with you! I'm sure as you get older, your taste buds will catch up with the rest of you.
