I hope they never come back to Amistad or Falcon. Not one good thing came from them being at the lake. In fact the lake has suffered.

Will.i.am they cut a few tournaments because of the economy.

Guys the Chamber of Commerce in every town does perks or monetary payments for tournaments to come to their town. The return on the investment is made up ten fold. They even pay non-professional trails to come to their town. I know how much they paid BASS, but it would best not to post it here. You have to understand the total dollars spent on food, motel, gas, incidentals and such by that many fishermen over that many days. Then, the people that read about the tournament decide to make the trip to that lake and money turns over 4 times.

I think the information is inaccurate. Word here is they will return in 2010, but probably not 2011.

Mike.... not enough facilities at the lake to host it. They require enough motel rooms within a few miles of the lake to hold 400 to 500 people. Also, they require a school gym or convention center to hold the meeting in. They also need a sponsor to have a dealership in the area to promote the paying sponsor by having things go on at that dealership,,,, whether it be a WalMart, Chevrolet dealer or whatever.

They are not far from Denton, and there are plenty of places to stay!!!!!
